“Hey Glen is my mum about?” Nathan asked

“She’s in her office buddy”

“K Thanks” Nathan smiled walking into Tina’s office

Tina looked up ready to ask if they forgot how to knock. She eased seeing her son.

“Hey sweetie is everything okay?”

“Yeah I was just wondering why Mama isn’t at school today?” Nathan asked

Tina looked confused “What you mean Mama wasn’t at school; she was probably in a meeting”

“No she wasn’t in the building Miss Lerner told me” Nathan explained taking a bite from Tina’s sandwich

“I don’t know then buddy” Tina explained “I’m sure theirs a logical explanation”

“Yeah anyway I need to get back I have practice in 15 minutes” Nathan smiled leaving with Tina’s sandwich.

Tina walked him out to the door, Glen laughed.

“He took you lunch” Glen stated

“When my son takes my lunch that means he’s hungry, he comes first” Tina smiled “Rule number 1 of being a parent”

Tina walked back into her office closing the door she picked up her mobile ringing Bette’s number.

Bette answered just before Tina was about to hang up.

“Hey baby” Tina smiled

“Hey T, listen I can’t talk right now I’m about to take a class” Bette lied hanging up the phone

Tina took the phone away from her ear, she was shocked, Bette was never this short with her.

Amy was standing in the kitchen putting all the food shopping away, Jacqui walked in hung her keys up put her briefcase down and went into the kitchen.

“Wow my wife is actually home when it’s day light” Amy smiled

“I know I’m struggling to believe it myself” Jacqui smiled stepping over the bags to get to Amy. Amy wrapped her arms around her.

“How was your day?” Amy asked

“Was reasonably quite, that’s why I’m home at 4pm” Jacqui smiled

“Well to be fair you did start at 6 this morning” Amy stated “Twins are with Paul I went to get them and he said he hasn’t had enough time with them come back later”

Jacqui laughed “He’s taking this uncle thing to a whole new level”
