Making Up Is Never Easy Chapter 126
“Nathan how’s you Mama?” Jodie asked
“Ok no thanks to you!” Nathan snapped as he continued to walk through the school corridor with Ben
“Excuse me?” Jodie asked
Nathan ignored her and continued to walk, Jodie decided to follow him.
“Nathan stop right now” Jodie said firmly
Nathan stopped “WHAT?”
“Firstly you watch you manners young man, Secondly…”
“Listen save your authority crap from someone who cares! You let my Mama continue to work when you knew how ill she was…what kind of person are you?”
Jodie stood flustered by Nathan’s outburst; Dana heard the commotion from her classroom and walked out to the corridor.
“Is everything okay?” Dana asked
“Everything is under control Mrs Fairbanks, Nathan is just on his way to detention!” Jodie stated handing him a slip
Nathan took the slip and ripped it in front of her, Ben looked at Dana nervously as he drifted over beside her.
“You can shove that, I won’t be going to detention after school or any other time” Nathan said
“NATHAN!” Dana snapped “That is the principle your talking to where is your manners?”
“I lost them when she put my Mama’s health at risk!” Nathan snapped as he walked through the corridor ignoring Jodie’s call and Dana’s.
Jodie looked at Dana shaking her head and then left.
“What happened there?” Dana asked
“Miss Learner asked after Aunty Bette and Nathan didn’t take well to it infact he didn’t take to it at all” Ben explained
“Ok go get lunch, I’ll give your Aunty Tina a call” Dana said putting her hand on his shoulder “Do not leave the school grounds Ben, I’ll deal with Nathan”
“I wont I promise” Ben agreed
Ben walked in the direction of the lunch area as Dana walked into her classroom picking up her mobile she dialled Tina’s number.
Jacqui was trying to get Amy to take the Cameron and Aleya to see Bette at the hospital.
“Jacqui I don’t care, I just don’t want the kid in the hospital right now” Amy snapped
“Babe I understand that and I know you don’t want to go near at the minute but your mama wants to see them before the operation and I think it will perk her up a bit” Jacqui sat beside Amy
