“Stop it!” Tina screamed breathlessly she was being dragged by Alice by the arm out of her home.

“C’mon Tina let’s go, I want to go to the Planet!”

“Alice you go. Why do you need me to go? I just want to stay home and wait for Bette.” Tina whined.

Alice rolled her eyes. “Tina, Bette’s said she’d come to if she didn’t finish too late. I don’t want to go alone and Shane’s no good she’ll just ditch me, you know how she is when she’s out there.”

Tina let out a breath of air. “Fine.”

Tina and Alice sat by the bar beside each other. Alice sipped her dirty martini while she kept her eyes out towards the door looking for any fresh new faces. Tina followed her friend’s eyes and shook her head. “Alice maybe you should just go ask someone to dance.”

“No Tina it’s the same old people. I have a feeling, tonight someone new is going to walk right into those doors.” She smiled.

“You can’t possibly know everyone here. Are you waiting for someone to ask you?” Tina was irritated, she had a long day at work, all she wanted to do was to go home, and curl up next to Bette.

Just then two arms wrapped around her waist. Tina clenched her eyes and spun around to glare at the sorry bastardess (haha) who had just felt her up. “What the fuck do you—“

She was surprised to find Bette standing behind her. “Oh” she smiled. She leaned in and gave Bette a kiss on the cheek.

“Oh? Jesus Tina I don’t know whether to be upset or glad that you reacted that way to me. I mean yeah I could’ve been a complete stranger…” Tina held up a hand.

“Sorry babe. I didn’t know. Come sit down. Vodka on the rocks, right?” She signaled a bartender and ordered her girlfriend a drink.

“So how was work?” Tina asked while rubbing Bette’s legs with one arm.

“Mmm Ti you know same old, same shit, different toilet kind of day.” She rolled her eyes.

“I’m sorry you had a bad day.” She smiled all awhile leaning in towards Bette. Alice saw the two talking, ignoring her; she decided to give Tina a little push towards her favorite rabbit.
