    THIS STORY IS INFLUENCED BY SEASON 2 SPOILERS. Bette runs into Tina and Helena at the opening of Kit’s bar, Helena takes Tina for a swim….

    Bette had just reached out to open the door of the womens room, a steely look of determination on her face, her lips stretched and thin with rage, when a strong grip pulled her hand and turned her body away from the room.

    What the *****? exclaimed Bette, whipping her head around to see who had pulled her away.

    Hey Bette, said Shane, you dont want to go in there. What you want is over by the door.

    Shane, what the ***** are you talking about, said Bette, still stunned, still trembling with the urge to harm Helena, the woman who was systematically taking everything that was once hers.

    Go to Tina, said Shane, nodding her head in the direction of the blonde standing alone, her eyes wandering the crowd, looking not at the ever-growing crowd of dancing, laughing, flirting women, but looking for one person. Go, she repeated in a tone that didnt leave room for argument.

    Bette walked quickly over to Tina. Her emotions still wrecking havoc on her body and her face, at once delighted to see the woman she loved more than anything in the world, yet angry, hurt and jealous that Tina could so easily be on the arm of another woman.

    Hi Bette!, said Tina beaming a smile in her direction. What a fabulous job you and Kit have done. This is spectacular! she continued while leaning over to kiss Bette briefly on the cheek.

    Bette gave her a small smile then looked away from Tina, afraid that her face was transparent. Tina, always quick at deciphering Bettes moods, softly asked, Hey, are you okay, while reaching out to hold Bettes hand.

    Bette quickly removed her hand from Tinas and wiped away some of the hot angry tears unable to be contained in her beautiful brown eyes. I thought you werent going to be here, she said quietly.

    Tina, instantly regretting letting Helena talk her into attending the opening of Dreams explained, I just wanted to stop in and congratulate Kit. Look, Im sorry if you are upset. Tina began to feel somewhat defensive of herself and continued, thats why I told you that I was seeing Helena, so you wouldnt be surprised if you saw us out. We cant hide from each other for the rest of our lives, said Tina.

    4. First of all Happy birthday. This is some gift you have given us today it should be the other way around. Great chapter by the way as always. Shane is sure cold in this situation. God Bette is so drunk anybody can take advantage of her right now. Tina shame on you girl. Post soon and have a nice birthday with lots of presents.

    7. I do get that Tina needs to feel that someone loves her, but does she have to sleep with HELENA??? Come on! I did want Bette to deck her. Thank god for Shane.
