Not With My Daughter, You Don’t – Short Story

“Are we all alone?” Tina smiled, tearing her eyes from her reading to look over at Bette on the same couch. They had both been reading together, comfortably in each other’s silence.

Bette took a moment before looking up from her book too, her feet resting in Tina’s lap. “Hmm?”

“I said,” Tina whispered, putting down her book and smoothing one hand over Bette’s legs. “Are we all alone right now?”

A smile touched her lips uncontrollably; she rested the novel on her stomach while looking over her reading glasses. “I’m not sure … maybe.” As she felt the pressure of Tina’s hand over her knee, she chuckled in the hearty way that came so naturally. “T … what are you doing?”

“Oh don’t act so shy, Ms Porter.”

Then Bette’s smile was inevitable as Tina lifted her feet to return onto the couch at a new position. “Actually, it’s Mrs. Porter.”

“Ooh,” Tina chuckled back, moving in on the shy woman beneath her. She reached for Bette’s book and set it properly on the coffee table before she gently lay on top of the brunette. “Mrs? And just when did that become official?”

Bette’s smile grew with the sensual tease. “How about the day you married me?”

Tina smiled playfully to her wife before finding a comfortable way to lie without hurting Bette. Slowly, almost cautiously, she dipped in for a kiss.

“Mmm,” Bette exhaled slowly, always enjoying the predatory nature of Tina’s desire on quiet evenings like this. She could become so confident, and so powerful. So full of need.

Without the necessity of words, Tina felt Bette’s legs part, and lay between them with a smile. She pulled back from their kiss and touched Bette’s lips, and then her cheek. “I miss these days. Our life just gets too busy sometimes, you know?”

“Well, it’s understandable,” Bette smiled, enjoying the way Tina’s touch could affect all places of her body. “We’re busy women.”

“Yeah, busy women who are about to get ‘busy’ in a moment,” Tina chuckled, knowing before she spoke it just how cheesy it really was.

Bette laughed quietly, smoothing her hands over Tina’s sides. “You can be so bad,” she whispered, bringing her legs up with the encouragement of Tina’s hands, “So so bad sometimes.”

    1. Hey GR, You had me rolling in the aisle. I just love when Angelica catches Bette and Tina out. Too funny. This was a great future tale. More please as this is the beginning of a great ocassionalseries, please. Many thanks for sharing this fun with me. Your Loyal Fan and Friend.

    2. Loved it!! The part where Angie catches them making out is really fun^^ totally how I picture Bette to be too :D One observation though: did you really have to make 16 years old look so stupid?? Anyway, you should totally consider continuing this, it’s great!!

    3. I’m going to practice my “death stare” for my daughter’s future date ) male or female) although that I already look intimidating. I loved that ending and I didn’t feel as if it were left opened. It was realistically happy, for me at least. I love how protective they are. Thanks GR :)

    4. Bette’s reaction to that young man is not unusual. I’m afraid she would have that kind of reaction to any boy or young man that Angie wanted to date, even if he was 18 or 30, she wouldn’t care for him being with Angie and Tina will always be the peacemaker for these occasions. However, I know Tina really wanted to snap him one for looking at her breasts and if she’d told Bette, he’d be dead by now. lol Being the parent of a teen is no bed of roses. Thanks for posting.

    5. Actually to me it does not seem unfinished, one could take it as a self-contained event that occurred, with thought of what may occur. It was very good by the way, not quite what I am used to reading and enjoying from you.

    6. ‘it may seem slightly unfinished, but I wrote it that way because the realistic nature of such situations is that you often don’t always get the answers you want’ – I think its a great vignette from their future lives, g1 !
