Chapter 35
Tina’s House
The warm, pulsating jets embraced the blonde’s shapely body. Submerged up to her neck, Tina realized how achy her back was from sleeping on Alice’s couch. Her eyes were closed as she enjoyed the massaging blasts of water relieve some of the tension stored in her muscles.
She hummed along to the lyrics of “Black Star” as Thom Yorke’s voice poured out of the speakers. This was Tina’s ideal state of relaxation; hottubbing to Radiohead in the middle of the day.
A soft drone caught the blonde’s attention and she opened her eyes. She saw that her phone was vibrating against the acrylic shelf of the spa. She reached for the towel to dry her hands before picking it up.
Tina checked the display and saw a text message alert. She opened the message and saw that it was a picture message from a 310 area code that wasn’t stored in her phone. Instantly, she felt the butterflies awaken in her stomach as she eagerly sat up to open the attachments.
When she saw the beautiful photo of the ocean waves against the sandy beach she smiled wide. Scrolling down, she saw the words beneath the photo. “Would it be presumptuous of me to think that a beautiful scene such as this would be appreciated by someone just as beautiful? I’ll call you later to get my answer.”
Tina couldn’t stop smiling at the sweet words that accompanied the gorgeous picture. She opened the other two attachments and gasped when she saw the last photo of the breaching whale.
“Oh my God, that’s so incredible.”
Tina wondered where at the beach they had met that Bette was privy to such a setting.
“You certainly know how to dizzy up the girl don’t you, Little Porter?”
The music executive quickly added the number to her address book with a smirk.
“There’s no escaping me now.” She warned, laughing at her own stalker-like statement.
Before she set the phone back down, she read the words Bette had text again and took a huge breath. Expelling it with a dreamy moan, she again immersed her body beneath the water’s surface.
Again, she closed her eyes and her smile was bigger than it was before she received the message. Her thoughts rewound back to this morning. Images of Bette in that tight running outfit, sweating and breathless, began affecting Tina’s own breathing.

Just caught up with all your chapters and must say that Bette is not the only one who knows how to dizzy up the girl! Brilliant, MeLL. Love your dialogue and spot-on humor…don’t know which is more appealing, tipsy Tina or self-assured Tina. THAT was your first NC-17? Sooo, sooo sexy and loved the song choices. Jodi is no threat as she seems quite capable of sabotaging herself. Can’t wait for Bette’s reply and hope no one was behind her to see the pic. Glad your feeling better and hope you have a good weekend!
You did it again, didn´t you. I´m trying to concentrate on my work and you just had to end with that comment. Now, get rid of Jodie and then let Tina show Bette in person.

Wow, I can’t see the photo but I have a great imagination. Bette smells a rat with jodi and rightly so, she is up to no good and Bette should talk to the girls and cancel the gig at Silverlake made by jodi. Then she should book them there herself or with Tina’s help and then be able to tell the band the proof that she was lying to them just to get them signed. She should also ask Tina why the contract with jodi and brittney was cancelled. Something tells me that jodi had done all that paparazzi stuff without brittney’s knowledge and having them chasing her around town. jodi is a skunk of the worst order and Bette should follow her instincts about this and don’t have anything to do with her. Great update. Thanks.
Waw… My mind just frozen on this sentence “photo the sexy blonde had sent her”… I want to see that photo!!! ….I want! I want!! :-D lol (it’s fiction damn it! Get a grip! :-p) … Glad you posted extra chapter! And here Jodi sounds like an angel… I start to doubt my feeling towards her… BUT… Glad that Bette has a good gut feeling as mine ;-) please let her find a good lawyer or adviser from the industry (such as Tina maybe?;-)) to ensure!! Bette is right, nobody does anything for free so what is Jodi’s end game? And Tina sent Bette a sexy pic imof what exactly? Last I recall Tina was in the tub having a great experience with just a thought of Little P. One can only imagine what’ll happen when they are both in the sane physical space. PPS!
