    Rainbow

The blonde teenager stepped into the large film studio. His blue eyes were as clear as the sky. He was a skinny but in shape, and he never brought too much attention to himself. He sighed as he entered the warm building out of the breezy coldness outside. It was the sunshine after the rain, and a bright rainbow was visible peaking out through white and grey clouds.

The young man approached the secretary timidly and said, "excuse me?"

The careless brunette immediately stopped chewing her gum and sat up straight, "hello, welcome to NYC studios, how may I help you?"

The teen smiled and politely asked, "I’m looking for Ms. Tina Kennard?"

"Oh well actually it’s Mrs. Kennard-Porter," the secretary grinned, "do you have an appointment?"

"Uh no, it’s just something I need to tell her, it’s of high importance," the teen insisted smiling his best smile at the young secretary who blushed and smiled.

"Well, I’ll see if she’s busy," she said picking up her phone and dialing. The teen watched her in silence, crossing his fingers. "Hello? Mrs. Kennard-Porter? You have someone here to see you are you busy?" Silence. "Well he says it’s important."

"Tell her I’m family," the boy whispered to the family.

"He says he’s family," the secretary relayed, she nodded a bit then hung up the phone. "She says you may go up, 15th floor at the end of the hall."

"Thank you," the boy said bowing his head gratefully. The secretary beamed and the boy rushed off to the elevator. He was nervous but scared at the same time.

He arrived at Tina’s office and knocked nervously. "Come in," came her strong feminine voice.

The boy walked in timidly and caught a glimpse of the woman. She was blonde with bright hazel eyes. Their hair color was exact as well as the shape of their nose and lips.

    "Hi," he said.

"Hey, come on in, have a seat," Tina said kindly. Her brow was furrowed in curiosity as she sat down behind her desk. The boy timidly sat down and looked out the window for a moment, unable to look at Tina directly without crying. She looked a lot like her.

The view of New York was incredible from Tina’s office. All the surrounding buildings were different colors and he could see the rainbow in between two of the buildings.
