    Bette and Tina spend some time togther, talking and loving

    Bette and Tina laid facing one another in the middle of the bed. The sated smiles were apparent on their faces as they had just finished drying one another after a long leisurely shower spent exploring one another’s body. They spent time kissing, and touching one another, reacquainting each other with special places that only the other knew. It was the those spots that they had found together after many years of making love to one another and learning how each reacted to one another’s touch. There was no hesitation, no fear or anxiety. There was love and an unspoken affirmation to their commitment to each other, and to their family.

    They lay together, limbs entangled. Tina’s hand gently stroked the length of Bette’s back. Bette reached and tucked a stray strand of hair behind Tina’s ear, and traced her fingers along Tina’s jaw. She leaned and placed a soft kiss on Tina’s mouth. There was nothing hurried or rushed to the kiss. It was slow and sweet, gentle, and filled of hope.

    “Mmm, I could get used to this,” Tina murmured.

    “You could, huh?”

    “I could. I’ve missed you so much. I’ve missed this so much. Spending time together as a family, and spending time with just you, has made me realize how much I want this to work. I want our family to work, but more than anything, I want you. I want you like I wanted you when we first met years ago.”

    The smile on Bette’s face grew. “You were insatiable. We barely slept those first few months.”

    “Do you think you can keep up? Because I don’t see this beginning being much different.”

    “Oh, I can keep up. Are you sure you can?”

    “I can keep up. We’re just going to have to be a bit more creative since we have Angie to consider.”

    Bette suddenly became serious. Tina saw the change in her face, and pulled Bette closer, hoping to keep her fears at bay.

    “T, what’s changed? Why now?”

    “Why not now?” Tina asked trying to lighten the mood.

I really liked this story, and thought that a solid foundation had been established in order for this story to continue and thrive. I hate to hear that you are ending it. Hopefully, you will reconsider and continue on with it.

    5. Hmm, obviously I’m on someone else’s computer. Oh well, I’m pretty sure you know who I am. Third day in and it’s going really well! Anyway…back to the story. Thanks for providing an alternate ending. Bette waffling on telling Jodi just didn’t make any sense. I hope you find the time to write more stories soon.

    10. My interest wasn’t waning I promise, just this pesky thing called work got in the way of timely reading! Thanks for such a beautiful ending, hopefully you will bring us a sequel or another story (maybe you already have and I just have to find it).

    13. Interest was waning? I don’t think so, it takes a little time or a few chapters sometimes for a story to catch on. There are so many excellent stories on this site, and this one is one of many and just starting. Please give it a chance, really don’t think you should end it now. Just my opinion. Thanks for posting.
