We were in the car on our way to the Planet, Bette was driving and I was looking out of the window thinking. After the phone call yesterday Bette had kept her eyes on me at all times. She even followed me every time I went in to the bathroom so that I wouldn’t get a chance to throw up. I knew she was only doing it out of love but it had become too much for me and the night had ended with me screaming at her to leave me alone. We hadn’t said a word to each other since.

I looked over at Bette as we pulled in to the parking lot at the Planet. She got ready to open her door but I put my hand on her arm stopping her and she turned her head towards me.

“I’m sorry” I whispered, looking into her eyes.

“It’s ok sweetie, I know it must have been annoying having me follow you around all day”

“I shouldn’t have yelled at you”

“Hey, let’s just forget about it, ok?” she leaned over and kissed me softly on my lips.

“I love you” I said before stepping out of the car.

She came around the car taking my hand as we walked towards the entrance.

“You wanna know a secret?” she asked before we stepped in.

“Always” I smiled

“I love you too”

As we entered the Planet Alice caught my eyes standing up waving her hands making sure we saw her.

I laughed at her silliness making my way over as Bette was talking to Kit at the counter.

“TK, what’s up? Haven’t seen you in ages!” Alice exclaimed.

“Alice we saw each other like two days ago” I chuckled as I sat down next to Dana.

“Yeah well it seems like ages, anyway have you seen that new waitress…” as Alice kept rambling on I caught eyes with Shane who was shaking her head smiling at Alice.

“Bette!” Alice exclaimed as Bette made her way towards our table sitting down next to me.

“What Alice?” Bette smiled at her friend.

“Where have you been hiding? Haven’t seen you in like ages!”

Bette raised her eyebrow looking at me “Is she serious? Didn’t we see her like two days ago?”
