    Author Notes:

    A meteorite strike hits Smallville and brings with a surprise for the Kennards. Teenage Tina, Alice and Kate prepare for their final weeks at Smallville High with Kate in a personal dilemma and where did Tina say she was from? Krypton!!!

    Smallville:

    The L Word Style

    16 years ago, Smallville, Kansas

    (Outer Space. Meteorites and a ship are hurling towards Earth. Jake and Laurel Kennard are driving home from town)

    Jake: Are you sure we got everything?

    Laurel: Yes honey we got everything

    (Suddenly a meteorite shaped object strikes the side of the road overturning their truck. Meteorites begin to rain down on Smallville. Cut to the Talon. Kate and her uncle are coming out of the Talon. Kate’s parents have come home from their trip)

    Lucas: Kate!

    (Jodi smiles loudly at the sight of her parents)

    Kate: Daddy! Mommy!

    (A Metorite hits the couple and throws Jodi and her uncle to the ground. Her uncle takes Kate in his arms)

    (Cut to a cornfield near Smallville. A young teen is tied to a post with a ‘S’ gratified to his chest. He is only wearing his boxers. A meteorite hits nears him uplifting the post from the ground. He has lost his hair. Cut to the Porters’ overturned truck. They are inside the truck and start to revive. Laurel looks out of the window to see a naked little girl)

    Laurel: Jake?

    (Jake turns his head to look out of the passenger’s side. They look at each other in shock then back at the little girl. The girl smiles)

    (Cut to the Kennards walking through the debris. Laurel is holding the little girl wrapped in a blanket)

    Jake: (In exasperation) Little girls don’t just fall from the sky Laurel

    Laurel: Then where did she come from

    Jake: I don’t know she’s gotta have parents

    (They find the ship)

    Laurel: Well, if she has, they’re not from around here

    Jake: We can’t just keep her Laurel; what are we gonna tell people, that we found her in a field?

    Laurel: (Cryptically) We didn’t find her, she found us

    Smallville, Today

    (Cut to Tina speed reading her text books on chemistry and physics)

    Laurel: Christina Kennard you’re gonna be late for school

    Tina: (yelling) Coming mom!

    (Cut to the Kennard Kitchen. Laurel is making breakfast and Jake is reading the newspaper. Tina opens the refrigerator and pulls out the orange juice and drinks it from the carton)

    4. I’ve never seen Smallville, but this looks like fun. The beginning was a bit confusing though. I know you were trying to explain where all the families were when the meteors hit, but I had trouble figuring out who was who. Thanks.

    6. Hey BT09, Impressive beginning as you totaly captured the mythology of Smallville. I can’t wait to read more. If I am right Kate is Lana so does that mean Bette will be Lois. I can definitely see Bette in that persona. All go get her. Just awesome. Thank you so much for a great start to this story. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
