SOMETHING SO RIGHT
Chapter 111
　
Tina was just waiting for her coffee and sandwich at her favourite coffee shop a few blocks from the studio. She liked to get out of the office if at all possible during the day otherwise she tended to be guilty of not getting a lunch break leaving her exhausted by the end of the day. It had been so good to get away with Bette for the weekend and she could feel that she was more relaxed. She knew that in one very special way that weekend had changed her life and that of Bette’s in a very unique way – she had asked Bette to marry her and of course she had said yes. Tina was happy – she really knew that it was the right thing for both of them.
“Well – well – I am sure I know the name – don’t tell me – I’ll guess “
Tina turned hearing the voice and smiled at Helena
“Hello Helena “
“Ah – you do know me – I was just wondering “
“Very funny “ Tina said
“Let me think a little longer – Nina – Dina — no – that’s not right “
“You are so clever “ Tina said
“Well its so long since I saw you – I checked my mobile this morning – its been about 2 weeks since I had a
text from you and even longer since I have been blessed by seeing your happy smiling face “
“I have been busy “
“Busy working or busy getting it on with Ms Porter ?”
“Busy busy “ Tina said looking at the counter in the hope that her sandwich was ready and she could
make an escape
“Not so fast Tina – what’s the matter ?”
“Nothing – I am just stressed at work “
“How was your weekend away ?”
“It was great – it was good to be away with Bette “
“It seems like Bette is the only person who has seen you recently “
“Helena – there is no big deal “
“You have never been able to look at me when you are lying “ Helena said lightly

Thanks for the update. I’m glad Tina got a chance to talk to Helena. It’s not healthy for her to be hiding away like she is. Hopefully they will get some bridges mended on their next trip back to NC.

Sweet double update! Helena had some great advice forf Tina now that Bette is mega rich. I agree with Bette that a big ceremony probably won’t work as long as Tina has a family divided…what to do? They could always jump the broom in Hawaii! (hint, hint)
Wonderful chapters AllyE. Thanks so much for the double post, that was great. Are we to know the amount of Bettes’ trust fund. Maybe you can tell us if it was high 7 figures or mid 8 figures, maybe we don’t need to know the dollar amount. For both of them to be stunned and Elizabeth to be surprised as well, then it must be in the 8 figure range. Whatever it is will be so good for them both. Helena’s advice was also very good for them as well. Rather than discuss high finance in a public restaurant, they should just cook for her at home and they will be free to speak without being overheard. Bette is right about the wedding, they will have difficulties with Tinas’ dad wanting his girlfriend there as well as the wee one. It’s just amazing to me that he still wants profits from the farm and he is not there trying to make any of it. The man has all the all in the world. Thanks again for giving us two chapters.
