    Soul Harvest: Chapter 49

A few months went by without adventure except for the excitement of a new relationship for Bette and Tina. Every day that passed they learned something new about each other, still in the giddy phase. They wanted to be the type of couple that still made time for their friends, though, which was difficult for them because they only wanted to spend time with each other. And they rarely slept alone, either Bette staying at Tinas or vice versa.

Babe, have you seen my new little black jacket thing? Bette yelled from her bedroom. Tina didnt respond and she sighed, pushing through hangers filled with suits and blouses.

Walking into the room a few minutes later, Tina said, Did you say something?

I cant find my new black jacket.

Tina rummaged through a bag behind the door and held out the suit top. She smirked. This what youre looking for?

Smart *****. What would I do without you? Bette kissed her.

How did you ever survive so long without me? Tina looked around the room and saw clothes scattered everywhere. So… how much are you actually bringing on this short trip?

Ive never been to Boston before and Ive never met your sister before… or your parents.

Please dont be nervous. I cant promise itll be ok, but well be there together. Besides Julie invited us both to go to her graduation, not just me. And my parents need to see that you are here to stay.

T, lets have a blast in Boston. They kissed again. Now help me pick out some good outfits.

Tina encouraged Bette to dress casually on the trip and plan for a lot of walking. Julie had told them that nobody drives there but either walks or relies on the public transportation due to the traffic nightmares and crazy streets, small and narrow and one ways. They rushed out of the apartment and headed to the airport, butterflies in Tinas stomach.

After arriving at Logan airport in Boston, Tina saw Julie waiting for them by the baggage claim. Bette watched as Tina ran over and lunged at her sister, clinging to her for a moment before letting go and introducing her to Bette. Looking at Julie, Bette saw a lot of Tina there, the same blonde hair and fair skin. They both had the same nose, but Julies eyes were blue and she was taller than Tina, lankier and barely any meat on her bones, in contrast to Tinas muscular form. Julie led them to the subway and they headed towards Julies apartment. Bette had wanted to take a cab but Julie insisted they use the public transportation, not wanting to spend money on a taxi when it wasnt necessary. After about forty five minutes they reached their stop.
