    That One Moment: Chapter 4

    Previously:

As their hands met, providing physical contact for the first time, a joint gasp could be heard. A jolt of electricity coursed through both bodies. It was almost as if a spark of static electricity had gone off. But no, there was no science involved here. No electrons, geodynamics, or fundamental force could account for the reaction that occurs when one meets their soul mate. No logical explanation for the racing hearts, whizzing thoughts, and surging hormones. The hold lingered, neither woman wanting to relinquish this feeling. And after the initial shock subsided, both women couldn’t help but notice how well their hands seemed to fit.

Tina took a deep breath. There was no going back now.

    Chapter 4

“Wow…” Bette breathed as she held Tina’s hand.

“What?” Tina questioned, having heard a barely audible whisper, but unable to discern what was said.  Her hand stayed suspended in mid-air, the tingling not having ceased yet.

Bette stopped, not realizing that she had even said anything.   “Excuse me?”

“Uhhh, you said something.  I just wasn’t sure what it was.” Tina bit down on her bottom lip, afraid that she was hearing things now.  She dropped her hand to her side, finally aware of the fact that it no longer had a mate.

Bette saw Tina’s tension and couldn’t help but smile.  She is so cute.  The way she bites her bottom lip is just so…un-fucking-believably cute.

Tina saw Bette begin to smile.  Oh shit.  She’s laughing.  Oh god.  I’m crazy, and hearing things, and reacting to a woman who thinks I’m fucking crazy.  Because I am!  I need to get out of here.  I don’t know what’s going on, but she obviously thinks I’m crazy.

Tina turned to leave, muttering a nonsensical excuse as to her quick departure, and quickly began to retreat before she felt resistance.  Bette had seen panic cross the blonde’s face and then heard something that sounded like “get home to go cut my hair” and then saw her begin to leave.  She couldn’t let her leave, though.  She didn’t know anything about this woman, but wanted to know everything.  She instinctively reached out and grabbed Tina’s wrist, willing her to stop.  “Please… don’t leave.”

    1. woohoo! I got to read 4 chapters in a row, catching up with a story is a great thing, but the excitement subsides when you realize that you’re gonna have to wait for the next update ;) Your writing is great, please do continue, chemistry seems to be your thing…don’t know how you’re doing with the organic chemistry (hope it’s going well though) but I can say you’re doing fantastic with the Tibette chemistry! I love a tipsy Tina, and the thing with Bette having a halo cracked me up..lolSo please don’t be humble and continue. Normally I would write PPVS, but being a student myself I know how stressful things can get, so I’m generous – please post when you can! It would be a crime to leave this story unfinished.

    2. this is a great story to stop now… so youre not getting off that easy… waited a month in anticipation for this chapter and youre thinking of stopping… please continue… even if you take your time with it…

    3. Hey girl, put that organic chemistry aside and continue your fabulous Tibette chemistry for us. This is great. I’m really liking your Tina and Bette’s charming openness and flirtation. Thanks.

    4. That is not even close to bad… your writing is wonderful and the story is even better. You have better get it out of you mind not to stop writing for I feel if you do… you will start a rebellion to hunt you down and make you continue writting. :)
