She had also booked a room for she and I at the Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale, which we drove to after getting our luggage collected.
The plan was for us to meet a Yale senior in the lobby of the Omni, who would be Mary’s companion for the weekend while Bette and I were on our own. We intended to be in touch by way of our electronic devices but first we wanted to get to know this person before we turned my daughter over to her.
Bette thought of everything. She was amazing with her lists and organization. She never forgot a thing and I do mean NEVER. She loved being in charge and I knew all the bases would be covered. We took just our luggage out of the car at the Omni, checked in and had it delivered to our room. Meanwhile Mary found her new friend easily because of their rabid emailing back and forth. Her name was Sandi Welch. She was blond, attractive, dressed well and avalanched confidence. We liked her immediately.
After introductions, as preplanned we were going to take them both out to lunch to the Sahara Mediterranean, where Bette said she truly missed their Eggplant Parmesan and fresh squeezed drinks. As we had discussed earlier, this would give us a chance to know whether or not we were dropping Mary off into good hands and we soon realized that we were.
All four of us bubbled with conversation over lunch. Bette and I bombarded Sandi with questions about our alma mater as Bette ordered her specialty item and the rest of us selected from the variety of wraps that were available with carrot juice on the side.
After lunch Bette’s plan was for us to take a 1:30 p.m. campus tour from the Visitor Center. We wanted to see Yale again through Mary’s eyes and started by watching a 15-minute video followed by the guided tour with a student in charge of it.
The walking tour was nearly two-hours long. We heard about Yale’s rich 300 year history and visited several of the twelve residential colleges that were patterned after Oxford and Cambridge. We briefly entered the Gothic Sterling Memorial Library and the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library.

Yea, another chapter! This is a new location – New Haven CN, a lot of old memories there, and it is fun to read between the lines of S & B. Only two of them knew what the secret meaning/codes they have with each other. I like that. Mary will have to start anew on her own, it’s so nice that Bette and Sissee can accompany her into a new chapter of Mary’s life -college.

The trip of there renewed love. 21 years later it starts all over again but this time it last forever. Pitty they couldn’t slip into the room to symbolise there love one more time. True they won’t have mary in the next room but I quess the people in the hotelroom will know what they are doing ;P Bring out the champagne, candles and let Bette work her charms. I can’t wait for the next chap.

My Dear Bette’s Babe, Yes, we are now going to mess around a little at Yale. Bette thought real fast when Sissee was teasing her about not having sex on her itinerary list. It made for a little inside joke between them. I liked writing this part. I learned a lot about Yale and it is pretty much exclusively about Bette and Sissee so I think you especially will like it BB.
Gummy Bear, You tickle me my friend but I won’t say where and that isn’t exactly an invitation to find out where, but I always enjoy your posts. One thing you can count on is that yes, there will be plenty of sex. So, don’t plan on going very far from your computer for the next few days. You’re grounded!

Honda90, Yes, Yale is large and kind of confusing. The so-called colleges are residential and therefore misnamed if you ask me. It’s like academically there are other buildings for learning. As for the regular updates. I can do it because it has already been written. I make some changes but when it reads well, I just leave it alone. Thanks for your post.

Jurefesa, Thanks for your comment. To tell you the truth, I don’t have much extra time to be reading other fanfic stories. Only once in a while do I venture out there. I am hoping this site will stay here for a long time because eventually I hope to go back and see what others have written. I am actually also afraid I might be influenced by what they write so I stay away for that reason too. I’m pleased in any case, to be the ONLY one you have left a comment to. I appreciate that and encourage you to keep letting me know what you are thinking. All my readers are very important to me.
