    Author Notes:

    George gets angry, Tina gets stuck between a rock and a hard place and Bette gets out of character.

    Bette walked to the elevator and waited. Tina had totally taken her by surprise. Bette had toyed with the thought of persuing something with Tina back when they first met but ultimly felt it was best to leave it alone. She valued Tina’s friendship too much to end up hurting her in the end. Woman were just an object to Bette and they both knew that. “Why the ***** would she kiss me?” Bette asked her self over and over. Tina stood in shock staring at the door waiting for Bette to come back and tell her everything was going to be ok. Tina faught back her frustrated tears and grabbed her keys and left. Tina walked up to the coffee shop and found George sitting alone, she was totally engrossed in her work and didn’t notice Tina sitting down.

    Tina: “Shoot me” she said laying her head on the table

    George: “Excuse me?” she said putting her pen down.

    Tina: “I am a complete moron”

    George: “Stop being so cryptic and tell me what’s going on”

    Tina: “Ok, I kissed Bette this morning”

    George dropped her hands to her lap and looked at Tina with a slight hint of disappointment.

    Tina: “And she walked away”

    George: “Your not ***** T” she said popping a grape in her mouth

    Tina: “I don’t know what I am, all I know is I did what I felt I needed to”

    George: “Well, what happened?”

    Tina: “Well she stopped by this morning and I kissed her, then I told her about all the feeling I have been having. Im so confused right now George”

    George: “What did she say?”

    Tina: “Nothing, she walked away”

    George: “Damnit, I know it was all a bad idea. I’ve seen it coming for weeks.”

    Tina: “Why are you so angry about this, is it because I have feeling for a woman?”

    George: “Oh yeah Tina, that’s exactly right” she huffed as she stood up amd began to gather her things “You know I could care less if you wanted to be with a man or a woman, obviously but Bette Porter is a bad idea, she is pretty much incapeable of having normal human feelings. ***** is a game for her Tina.”

    5. I like the fact that Bette now knows the feeling of being jealous…hopefully this will make her realize she has feelings for Tina. Great story…keep it up!
