Chapter 230
Narration of First Lady Tina Kennard-Porter
Bette is still asleep well after 9am while Ella and I are downstairs. President Clumsy had a bad night and finally relented to taking some painkillers around 3am. They took a couple of hours to kick in, so it must have been close to 5am before I finally sensed that she had stopped fidgeting and got some sleep. I know her ankle is hurting her – for Bette to take painkillers means that the pain must have finally been too much for her in her tired condition. This is not the first time I have had to look after Bette – but it is the first time I have had to care for Bette when I also have to look after our daughter and make the arrangements for Christmas – and secretly finding out what the hell crawled up Shane’s ass and died AS WELL AS – trying to use the internet to find out about Bette’s mother – talk about multi bleeding tasking !
First thing is first – call to the White House – a direct line to the Vice President
“Peggy “
“Tina – darling – I hear that your wife can’t stand on her own two feet “
“Very amusing Peggy – she tripped over a rug as she was coming out of Ella’s room”
“Is she badly injured ?”
“Her ankle is pretty swollen and she was fidgeting most of the night. She’s asleep now”
“How is my beautiful little angel ?”
“Ella is fine – currently engrossed with her toys which are much more interesting than her momma T “
“I haven’t seen her in a while “
“Well one of the things that I was ringing you for was to invite you over during the holidays – we’d love to see you and I am sure that you would like to see Ella “
“I would be delighted – I have my diary somewhere – now – hang on – here we are.
What date were you thinking about Tina ?”
“Anytime between Christmas and New Year “
“How about the 27th ?”

i wish i had the talent and disipline to write a story on the site, let alone the kind of stories you write. i know i am being extremely greedy when i state that i hope you continue to write on this site, til you have no more words to speak. you had me at chapter one of the l wing, and i have never missed a word of anything you have written since, i understand the need for a break once in a while, but the thought of you stopping, so not right….please, please stay with us!!!!
I’m glad you’ve decided to keep writing for this site, Ally. I can’t actually imagine this site without you, your frequent posts and your lovely Bette & Tina stories. Guess you’ve spoiled us with your prolificness, penchance for drama and your wonderful versions of B&T’s world for so long. I knew I was hooked on B&T fan fic when I read and reread 160 plus chapters of this unique story in less than a week, even during office hours. Hope you’ll get to bring this long-running but still interesting and enjoyable story and your other stories to an apt and satisfying conclusion. Hopefully not in the near future. ;> Anyway, someone should get to the bottom of Shane’s foul behavior before she causes more damage and adds insult to Bette’s family crisis and agony. Can’t wait to find out where that piece of info on Katherine Morgan aka Bette’s mom will take Tina’s private investigation. *Thank you, thank you, Ally!* :>
AllyE, again you do write a beautiful story, no matter the topic or participants. Your work is superb and we are truly blessed to have had you write and entertain us for so long on this site. Also totally understand that you want to write your own stories and my hope is that you have your work published. Just please tell me the title and when it’s coming out so that I can be one of the first to purchase it. I know without a doubt in this world that your would be on the New York Times bestseller list for weeks and weeks. Just tell us when. Thanks for all your wonderful work on this site. Good luck to you and thanks for contnuing the stories you already have to their natural conclusion. When yo uwake up wanting to write and go to bed wanting to write; then writing is what you should be doing. I am thrilled you have made that decision. Excellent chapter as usual, lets hope peggy sorts out Shane and Tina finally finds all the truth about Bette’s mum. Well as far as u continuing to write that’s an excellent decision cos we all love ur stories and without them the site won’t be the same:)

Another great update to one of my favorite stories. I’m very intrigued about what will come next, with both Shane and Bette’s family situation.As for you continuing to write on this site, all I can say is thank you. I love your stories and always wait anxiously for updates. I can understand your desire to write your own characters and stories and know I would enjoy anything you write. That said, I’m glad you have decided to continue the stories you have going. :)
