“Shane!” Dana shot up from her bed again from a bad nightmare. She felt that something has happened and knew that it was bad. She wanted to call home to see if everything was all right, but couldn’t. She wiped the sweat off her face and sat on the edge of her bed. She sighed heavily and raked her fingers through her head.

“These dreams have to stop.” She mumbled to herself. She got up slowly and walked towards the bathroom to get cleaned up.

                Shane looked around at the different faces of people as she walked behind Magneto and Pyro. She stopped abruptly when someone stepped in front of her.

“What the—,” she looked at the burly man standing in front of her.  “I’m with them.”

Magneto turned around and smiled. “Juggernaut step away, she’s one of us.”

Juggernaut looked back at Magneto and nodded. “All right—,” he moved out of Shane’s way.

“What the fuck was that?”

“Juggernaut. He’s very powerful, especially when he picks up speed. So try and not get into his way.” Pyro patted Shane’s shoulder. She pushed Pyro’s hand away. “You know that you have a really bad attitude problem.” He stood up to Shane.

“I don’t like to be touched. You should know that by now.”

“That’s enough, there’s no fighting amongst our brothers.” Shane and Pyro moved away from each other. Magneto stood in front of everyone. “We are here to fight for our future. We will strike upon these humans and take what is ours.” Everyone cheered. “We will be the ones in control of this world because mutants are the future.” Magneto raised his fist into the air. “We will prevail!” Shane looked at Pyro, and Pyro smiled.

“What is Magneto up to now?” Ororo looked at the Professor.

 Dr. Xavier shook his head. “I don’t know—I never know what Eric is up to.” He laughed softly.

“Who’s this new person that he has following around?” Logan crossed his arms.

“Her name is Shane McCutcheon. I guess Magneto’s been following her around for a while now. He knew that she was going to evolve into a mutant—but how?” Jean looked at the picture.
