Bette walked hurriedly in the hall when she collided with someone. “Oh shit!” Bette quickly helped the girl up helping her collect her things. “Are you ok?”
“I think” The blonde girl said as she took Bette’s hand and got up.
“I’m so sorry” Bette said while picking the girl’s books not looking at her.
The girl looked at Bette and felt butterflies ‘Wow’ she thought.
“I wasn’t paying attention” Bette said handing the girl her books “There again I’m sorry”
Bette saw the girl rubbing her head, “Are you sure you’re ok? Maybe we should get you to a doctor.”
“I’m fine” The girl smiled looking at Bette.
Bette gasped, ‘Wow’ “Amm I’m Bette.” “Porter” she added.
“Well nice to meet you Bette PORTER” The girl said amused making Bette blush.
‘What’s wrong with me?’ Bette thought.
“Tina” The girl smiled, “Kennard, if you must know”
“I’m not usually this clumsy” Bette defended. “I just… I’m late to meet my friends and they’ll give me the whole why are you not spending any time with us? Speech. And I’ll have to explain that I’m studying and of course they’ll ask if my studies are more important than them- and trust me you cannot answer that question right! So I’ll say that yes my studies are important to me and they’ll say that books will not keep you warm in night and I’ll say that my studies are my future and they, as my friends, will still be here in a few years when I’ll graduate. Of course they’ll look mad but I’ll have to explain to them that I’m doing it for them otherwise how will I buy them expansive gifts and OMG! I’m babbling” Bette suddenly said her eye growing big.
Tina smiled ‘God how cute can you be?’
‘God how stupid can you be?’ Bette thought ‘Shoot me now shoot me now’
“I’m not usually like this” Bette quickly said “Really, I’m charming”
Tina laughed, “You’re hiding it well” She teased.
Bette sighed, “Well are you sure you’re ok?”
Tina nodded ‘Don’t go’.
Bette gave her a small smile, “I’m glad. You know what? Here’s my phone number… if something happens, if you start getting headaches or something call me I want to know I didn’t do any permanent damage” Bette smiled flirtatiously.

If I didn’t know better I would swear that you have my story notebook on a book I have been writing. It starts off in a similiar way. Little does Tina know that walking away from Bette will probably prove to be the most difficult thing she will ever do. Great beginning. Please continue.
