    Tina…Bette…drama…angst…it all continues.
    (B&T Beginning set on a college campus)

    Tinas eyes were still closed and her voice was quiet. Hes not even why Im really so upset.

    What do you mean?, asked Betted, running her thumbing lightly over the back of Tinas hand.

    Tina opened her eyes slowly and turned her head towards the sound of Bettes voice. Tears slid down the side of her face and sorrow blanketed her gaze. Bette, its not about EricI think Im pregnant.

    Bette felt her jaw drop and her heart sink with Tinas words. She stared into Tinas eyes and willed herself to find something remotely supportive and sensitive to say.

    Bette felt her senses slowly begin to unthaw as Tinas last words hung in the air around them. There was a swirl of emotions assaulting the caramel colored womans spirit. The emotion most apparent was sheer devastation. She knew that she and Tina werent a couple and she also knew that her first true love had been intimate with Eric. She knew these things, yet she wasnt prepared to come face to face with the consequences of their union. The knowledge that Tina could be pregnant with Erics child shattered the false hopes that Bette had unwittingly been holding on to. In the recesses of her mind, the beautiful dark-haired beauty held Tina in the highest regard. Bettes subconscious loved the burdened blond unabashedly and was patiently awaiting the day the two could be wholly together. This knowledge of a potential life, created out of the miserable combination of angst and desperation that was Tinas current reality, shook the core of Bettes subconscious and sent all of her preconceived notions crashing into the abyss around her.

    Jealousy chased anger. Anger chased sympathy. Sympathy chased compassion. Compassion found love and love melted Bettes heart and compelled her to snap out of her daze and comfort the woman that still owned her troubled heart.

    Pregnant?, Bette asked, her voice breathless, her mind still trying to connect the meaning of this word with the blond lying beside her.

    Tina nodded and looked away. Pregnant., she repeated.

    Tears filled Bettes dark brown eyes. She knew she was supposed to be the strong one and she had no idea where the tears came from, but they had a mind of their own. Oh, T., she said, gripping Tinas hand even tighter and trying to still her own emotions.

    3. “It’s too bad this couldn’t be your baby.” Wow, now if that doesn’t say they’re already together, I don’t know what does. But, to make it official would be good. Now with Eric out of the picture, somewhat, maybe Bette can finally make up her mind, who she wants to be with. Please post soon. But, just know that is can’t be soon enough. Thanks, though.

    14. Do you realize that because of this story and “Foolish Moves” I’m checking this site every hour looking for new stories. I’m addicted to so many of the stories here. I’ve read a lot of amazing B/T stories but this one is by far the most addictive I’ve personally read. Hurry up and get these two together already…lol.
