Tina turned and left Bette standing on the dance floor. On her way back to the table, Tina was intercepted by a beautiful brunette.

“Hey Tina, I was hoping to run into you tonight!”

“Hi Cindy, look I am not in the mood for company right now.”

Leaning in at just the right angle, so Tina would have to notice her amble cleavage, she whispered into Tina’s ear.

“Maybe, I can make it all better for you.”

“You know what maybe you can!”

Bette now stood and watched Tina, lead Cindy to the back off the club, to a discreet corner.

“Fuck.” Bette now made her way back to the table to be joined by Alice and Dana.

“Whew it is hot on that dance floor, didn’t I see you and Tina up there?”

“Ya, you did Alice but she found a better attraction.” Bette nodded toward the back to Tina and her friend.

“That’s Tina for you, always checking out the laaddiies!”

“Well, I think I have seen enough for one night. Good night Alice, Dana.”

“Night Bette, see ya tomorrow morning at the Planet for brunch.”

Bette went home alone, with Tina on her mind. Why wouldn’t I be attracted to her? She is smart, successful, funny and not to mention sexy. The way she was dressed tonight, everyone was turning their heads to get a good look at her. What was so wrong about being attracted to each other? Is it just a sex thing or is it more? These were the thoughts going through Bette’s mind as she was trying to sleep.

At the Planet the next morning, Bette walks in looking for the gang. She spots, Alice, Dana, Shane and Tina located at their usual table. She makes her way towards them. All the girls, except Tina, look up with a smile and wishing Bette good morning, Tina just looks up with no expression. Bette takes a seat beside Tina.

Alice pipes up,

“Did you guys hear about that motorcycle accident that happened just outside, apparently the guy did not survive? Poor guy probably had a family to.”

“Well, when you get on one of those things, you are not thinking safety!” Says Bette.

“You to have no idea what you are talking about,” replies Tina.
