When Jenny got back to the apartment she sat there infront of her computer and began to think of Marina .Taking a deep
breath, “I am so confused. What do I do?” Shane had arrived back from her afternoon with Tina, “Hey, want a beer?” “No
thanks, you know I don’t drink that stuff” “Ok sorrryyy, why you so grumpy? did I interupt something?” “I can’t write, my
head is just full of these thoughts and its making me so confused” Shane thought to herself “Jenny you have been
confused for a long time already” and then said, “Do you want to talk about it?” “Yes, I need to talk about it or I never
will” “Ok, I am listening” “I saw Marina this afternoon” “Oh yes and” “We talked and she told me about what happened,
Francesca and how she feels” “I hope you listened to her this time. She still cares about you, you know” “I did and I told
her how I felt, she seemed quite sincere but I kept on thinking if she was being honest or not” “Do you still care for her?”
“Even though I still feel quite hurt and angry, I still do care for her and when she was telling me what happened, all I wanted
to do was show her that I care but I didn’t”

“So what did happen to her cause no one really knows” “Well, she said that she knew that she had lost me, that she knew
that she was going to lose The Planet because things between her and Francesca hadn’t been right for a while. One night,
she found herself in the bathroom holding three bottles of pills in her hand. “Oh man, that is some serious stuff” Francesca
found her on the bathroom floor and rushed her to the hospital. She said that she saw a therapist and they spoke about
things to get the problems in her life sorted out” Shane sat there listening very carefully and she had no idea that Marina
wasn’t a happy woman and then said, “Francesca was a such *****! A very cold woman and think no one had the guts to
say it out loud” “I guess so, everyone seems to be saying that so it must be true” Jenny looked at the floor and then back
to Shane, “I don’t know how to handle this situation with Marina, what do i do?” “Jen, I wish I knew what do to myself cause
I am no expert at relationships. What I have learnt is that you should go with what feels right” “Its that easy?” “Maybe you will
just have work on it and see how she reacts” Shane’s cell phone rang and Jenny was already in deep thought playing with her
hair.

Kit went to Bette’s after she had called her to come over. She needed someone to talk to and who better than your sister.
Bette could not help but cry while Kit held her. “Bette, talk to me, please. What happened?” “I was a stupid idiot! I cheated
on Tina” “You did what?” Kit stood up. “You and Tina were so right for each other. I can’t believe it. Who with?” “Candace,
the carpenter that worked at the cac” “How could you let this happen?” “I don’t know it just did” “You have to give me a
better answer than that. Bette, you were going to start a family with her, what if she hadn’t lost the baby? what would you
have done then” Bette was speechless, her mind was reeling and emotions were running high. “Well?” “Kit…I…let her kiss
me and I liked it. I regretted it afterward but I felt an attraction for her and ended sleeping with her” “What about the 7 years
with Tina? hhhmmm Did that mean nothing to you? So you are not attracted to Tina anymore? you don’t love her anymore?”
“I have asked myself, do I still love her?” “And?” “I do, I don’t know what it is that let me cheat on her” The tears came back.
Kit stood there and handed her the tissue box.

Both Dana and Alice were absolutely exhausted from the days they had. They collapsed on the couch together and cuddled
while they spoke about each others day. They heard the door close and knowing it was Tina. They both sat up suddenly and
said “Boo!” Tina jumped, “Oh you guys scared me!!!!” Giggling and smiling at Tina “Come sit down and tell us about your day”
said Alice. Tina flopped into the couch opposite the other girls and sighed, “What a day?!? I am exhausted but it was a good
day” “Well, what made it so good? hhhhmmm” “Well, Shane was such a sweetie cause we had a breakfast and then she
offered to drop me off and picked me up today. She refused to let me pay for driving me around” Both the girls smiled and Dana,
said, “That is Shane for you. Always caring about her friends” “Afterwards we had lunch and joked. I really had a good time with
her, you know, I think its the first time when it has just been me and her” Tina smiled “The interview went really great and it looks
very promising” “I am happy for you T. I hold thumbs for you” “Thanks Al” “Why don’t we get take out?” “Chinese!”
yelled Dana. Alice had already lept out off the sofa was dialing the number of the local chinese food place in the area.

The next morning Jenny was back at the Planet and Marina saw her walk in. She immediately walked up to Jenny and sat her
down at a table. “Is there anything I can get you?” “I’ll have an iced coffee please” “Amy?” “Yes, Marina?” “Amy, can you get me an
iced coffee please?” “Sure, coming up””Thanks Amy” Marina looked over to Jenny and asked her, “So, how are you doing Jenny? Is
there anything I can do for you?” “I wanted to come by and say hello thats all” “Well, it means a lot to me that you are here” The
gang arrived not noticing that Jenny and Marina were sitting together talking, they were there for their coffee and breakfast get together
before going about there own daily routines. Alice eventually spotted them and nudged Dana, “Hey, look over there, its Jenny and
Marina” Tina quickly said, “Leave them be. Its sometimes better to observe” “Tina, I didn’t know you were a voyeur” said Shane with
a wicked grin on her face.”Hey get your mind out of the gutter!!” laughed Tina. Marina was a little nervous but started with some
small talk. “So, hows the writing coming along?” “I am working on a story but I think I have a little case of writers block” “Take a break
and it will come back to you” Jenny saw the gentle expression on Marina’s face which put her at ease. Amy arrived with the iced
coffee. “Marina, there is a call for you in the office” “Jenny, I have to go but it was good seeing you. Come back some time”
Jenny walked up to the gang, “Can I join you guys?” “Sure, take a seat” said Dana moving a chair next to her. Alice was eager to
hear what was going on between Jenny and Marina. “So, tell us, what’s up with you and Marina?” “Nothing, I wanted to come by
to just say hello thats all” “That’s all?” “Hey let ber be” said Shane in quick defence for Jenny.

Bette had taken a few days leave but was still in contact with the office sending emails back and forth. She can never tear herself
away from the work that seemed to be so important to her. She sat at the table in her pj’s and sipped on her coffee. She felt
disorientated as she is normally with all the girls at the Planet in the morning. Her phone rang but she let it ring as she decided to
screen her calls and listening to the call, “Bette its Harrison, Where are you? You were supposed to meet me for your gym
session. Are you ok? This isnt like you to miss anything. Call me ok?” Bette walked to the bathroom to have a shower, she saw
that Tina had left her shampoo behind. Opening up the bottle of shampoo, it made her remember whenever she hugged or held
Tina in her arms, she would smell the beautiful fragrance and softness of Tina’s hair. The tears in Bette’s eyes were back.
