    finally, we get to know what’s going on.

    Chapter 7
    " May I have your attention please?" Krystal began to speak.  "You are here because of Bette and Helena. We have come to warn you about several asteroids streaking towards you. They are not yet visible to your scientists, they will hit the earth. No matter where they hit, they it will kill millions of people immediately. The dust and ash thrown into the air will interfere with air travel and radio signals. The magnetic anomaly will interrupt sea travel. Soon all vegetation would wither and die taking a large part of your food source with it. You would be dependent on genetically engineered foods to survive. The very few humans  who lived long enough to see a supply of that food grow or be produced would be barely clinging to life.
    This occurrence will cause major tsunamis and earthquakes and also will activate the super volcanoes in the world, one of which is located in Yellowstone national park"  It will trigger a new Ice age.. It will be possible to survive this if you stick together. We have implanted a microchip in Bette’s head and we will monitor you and assist as we can. We are not able to stop this from happening. This sort of thing happens every few million  years and wipes out the dominant species. An asteroid hit the Yuccatan Peninsula, playing a large part in wiping out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago.. They had to go because humans and dinosaurs cannot coexist.  The few that were left were killed by us so that humans could evolve.  Only God can stop this from happening.
    The "heat pulse" caused by re-entering ejected matter will reach around the globe, igniting fires and burning up all terrestrial organisms not sheltered in burrows or in water, since the earth is 75% water it is very likely that at least one of the asteroids will hit one of your oceans. Initially the water would be sucked up and it would rapidly refill the impact site if the asteroid hits in the Pacific Ocean it will wipe out the Pacific Rim, California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii will also be wiped out. There would be a firestorm all around the globe after about an hour the surface of the earth will be red-hot.  Assuming you survive the initial impact human nature will cause people to raid supermarkets and any other public place where water and food may be available. Martial law will not help, many people will be killed in the panic." The safest place to be would be in one of the caves that you have visited being underground gives you the best chance of survival.
    " There are bats and creepy crawlies in the caves" said Alice. Shane said "well Alice it is either bats and creepy crawlies or stay above ground and get cooked or  shot."  Put on your big girl panties and cowboy up."
    Tasha said" we should begin stockpiling nonperishable foods and water. Each of us should have a gun for protection."  We should keep all food and water matches flashlights battery-operated radio guns  and sleeping bags together in one place." It will be kill or be killed." Those of you that are not familiar with handling guns should take classes and become not only safe but proficient, our survival depends on being able to protect each other."  I am volunteering to head up this task for us." Tina, will you volunteer to help me?"
    ‘Sure Tasha, since I am one of us that can cook. Helena should participate in this as well." Tasha you could work with Shane, Lara, Dana, Carmen, and kit on the gun training"  Bette, you should begin making a list of those things that we will require, for once one of your lists will be helpful."  Everything should be packed and lightweight boxes so that we can easily carry our provisions and our survival items."  Lara and Shane please work with Bette on assembling this stuff and on the lists."
    Krystal said " your scientists should be able to identify the asteroids coming towards you in time to give you adequate notice to get to safety."  Remember, stay close to Bette and Helena so that we can find you all and help in whatever way we can."  We will be returning you to your campsite shortly."

    4. Sounds like a dreadful apocalyptic future is in store… It’s going to be really hard going if they stay on Earth, if they all even survive the impact. Either Bette and Helena’s mothers help them out (like, properly out of the planet), or they start praying for that asteroid to miss and take out Mars or Venus instead. Thanks for the post! :)
