Shane was driving but she didn’t exactly know where she was driving to. She was talking to herslef the whole way though with Dana and Alice jsut staring at her.

Shane: Why am I doing this? Bette is going to have my head. I should call her. No I shouldn’t she’ll tell me to bring her back. But it is the right thing to do.

Dana: Shane!

Shane: What?

Dana: You need to stop you are going to drive yourself crazy.

Shane: I’m already going crazy. I don’t know where I am going.

Dana: Well more importantly why are you doing this? I mean thank you we really appreciate it but why are you not bring us to Bette and Tina’s house or at least calling them?

Shane: Because I know what you guys have. I know how hard it is to find what you guys have and I am not about to let some doctors or even Bette and Tina tear that apart.

Alice: Thank you Shane.

Shane looked over at the weak looking girl.

Shane: Alcie when was the last time you ate something?

Alice: Come on Shane do we need to get started on that again?

Dana: Alice please tell us.

Alice: *sigh* Like dinner to nights ago.

Shane pulled into the next driveway.

Shane: We’re here.

Dana: Shane, we’re at Burger King.

Shane: Yep and we’re not leaving until Alice eats something. And a good amount of something at that. I may have taken you away from LA so that you don’t have to go back to the hospital but we have to make sure that you stay okay. I’m not going to let you get worse.

They were inside at a table with Dana eating a salad, Shane eating a medium onion ring and Alice playing with her chicken tenders.

Shane: Alice you have to eat them.

Just then Shane’s phone rang and they all knew who it was.

Shane: Hello?

Bette: Shane where are you? I tried to called Dana’s but she wasn’t home. Are you guys out looking for her? Did you find her yet?

Shane: Wow Bette lots of questions. Umm…We’re at Burger King right now. We were going to go out looking for her but then she kinda showed up at Dana’s door.

Bette: Well thats great we’ll meet you at the hospital and then we can sign her back in and make sure she has someone with her at all times so she can’t run again.

Shane: Thats not what the plan is Bette.

Bette: What are you talking about Shane. She needs to be in a hospital she needs to get better.

Shane: Bette don’t you think there is a reason she ran in the first place. She didn’t want to be there and if you don’t want to be some where then you are not going to work on getting better you are going to try to get to the people that you love.

Bette: Shane don’t do this she needs our help. You need to do the right thing even if she will be mad at you for it.

Shane: What about Dana?

Dana looked up from her salad when she heard her name being used. She looked over at Alice who was staring intensly at Shane the whole time.

Bette: What about her?

Shane: You don’t care if she is mad at you either?

Bette: Shane we can talk about this later jsut tell me where you are and then we can meet you there.

Shane: Not going to happen.

Just then Shane hung up on Bette and turned off her phone so Bette couldn’t call her back.

Alice: So?

Shane: You’re going to eat 3 more of those tenders then we are getting out of here.

Dana: Back to the hospital?

Shane: No we’re going to Las Vagas. I need some air Dana make sure she eats those.

Shane left and went to sit in her truck waiting for Alice to finish.

Dana: That was really hard for her you know. We owe her a lot.

Alice: I know.

Alice reached her hand across the table. Still holding her hand Dana got up and went to sit on the other side of the both with Alice. Dana put her head on Alice’s shoulder as she ate.

Dana: Bette was the one that found her out on the streets and she has always told Bette everything. Now she has to turn against her.

Alice: I know what you’re thinking but I can’t go back there.

Dana: I know sweetie come one finish those up while I go to the bathroom.

Dana went off the to bathroom and Alice got up and threw away all of her food including some that was in a napkin that Shane and Dana thought she ate. Dana came back out.

Dana: Ready to go?

Alice: Yep.


The next chapter is going to be a little far- fetched but go with it jsut for the sake of the story.
