    Well, to make a long story short, Christine and Elisabeth were a couple though not openly.

    Chapter 14

     

    They left the market with two huge bags each, knowing that they probably bought more than they would need but, they wanted to bring some goodies back to the house. They were both famished.

     

    As they pulled into the long drive way leading to the house, they could see Tina, Alice and Shane on the front steps. As they got closer, they could see that the tangled mess of weeds and debris had been cleared from the front of the house.

     

    “Well, haven’t we been industrious.” Bette was surprised by the work that had been done.

     

    “We thought that if you were going to own it we would help with the clean up. So, did you inherit it? Alice was rapid fire with her question.

     

    “No actually, we did not inherit the house.” Bette turned to smile at Kit. “Don’t you think that what we inherited is better than this house?”

     

    “Wow, I think so. It is just so cool!” Kit is still in shock about the entire situation.

     

     

    “Help us get this stuff into the kitchen and we will tell you all about it.” Shane, Alice, Tina and Kit carried the bags into the kitchen. Bette was trying to hide her hand. She knew once it was seem, the jokes would not stop.

     

    “OK, OK, OK what gives. Are you millionaires or what? It’s been killing us this whole time!” Alice was in hyper-mode.

     

    Kit looked at Bette as if to say, you splain this one Lucy. “First things first. Kit and I do not have another sibling. The other woman named in the will was Agnes’s companion.”

     

    “Companion. Like what kind of companion. They played bridge together. Went to bingo. Like that kind of companion” Alice was obviously the one with all the questions but the look on Shane and Tina’s faces was priceless.

     

    “No, not a bingo companion. A life partner.”

     

    “What the fuck. Your aunt Agnes was gay. She was married. Did your uncle know. This is pretty heady stuff girls.”

     

    “Alice, if you will stop asking questions I think I can explain it all. But, you have to zip it and listen.”

    2. Great chapter. aif these ghosts are harmless why would they try to hurt Bette? I hope Tina sleeps on her thoughts and decides to give it another try with Bette. You never know unless you try. PPS

    6. Oh djrk this was just two funny for words especially their reaction to the possible ghosts and Bette’s finger. Also Bette’s finger being swollen reminds me of Season 2 when Bette was trying to put together the birthing tank. I noticed that some of Jennifer’s fingers or her hands looked unusually swollen in that scene maybe it was the lighting or too much thumb wrestling ah, ah.

    12. And you left us hanging at a most crucial point. Hopefully before this trip is over, Tina will have made up her mind to give their love another try.I have a feeling that the ghosts will help her see the error of her ways and get back with Bette. Wonder if Agnes will appear and help them get back together? I hope she does. I would like to know what Miranda did when she paid her respects to the house and to the memory of her lost love. Great update. PPS

Wow an ultra long chapter there im glad!I fink that Tina will make up her mind after this trip…As for the lesbian dancers i think when they come Tina should go protect Bette andmake some more common ground.Kit is such a scaredy kat aint she. I wonder if Miranda will come to LA to visit the gang i hope so…as for Agnes’ house i fink they shouldnt sell it…maybe it could be Bettes and Kits home away from home.I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter so keep up the gd work.PPVS
