“Wish You Were Here”: Chapter Five

Only one more day until Lexi would be moving into Tina’s home. Tina had been taking time over her weekends off to prepare the house for Lexi’s arrival; now it was time to prepare the bedroom.
She had put this off for almost five years. She walked over to the closet farthest to the left in her bedroom; Bette’s closet. She hadn’t removed any of her things; the thought was almost painful even after such a long amount of time had passed. Tina had to keep reminding herself that she needed to do this; but it saddened her that little by little Bette’s things disappeared from the house.
Tina started pulling out the articles of clothing; designer suites, blouses, pants. Some of the clothes still had traces of Bette’s perfume. Tina pulled out one of Bette’s favorite suites; the black Jill Saunders suit. Tina had a clear picture in her head of what Bette looked like wearing it; so professional and so beautiful. She pulled the clothes off the hanger and held them close reminiscing.
“Mommy?”
Tina’s thoughts were interrupted by Angelica walking into the room.
“What are you doing Mommy?”
“Just putting away a few things sweetie.”
Tina carefully folded the clothes into small piles on the bed. Angelica sat down on the bed and watched her mother.
“Are those Mommy B’s clothes?”
“Yes…they are.”
After all of the clothes were out and folded on the bed; Tina started removing the shoes.
“What are you going to do with them?” Angelica asked.
“I’m….well for now I’m just going to put them away in the big trunk I have.”
Angelica looked over at the large trunk in the corner of the room.
“Do you still miss her?”
Tina stopped what she was doing and looked over at her daughter; she couldn’t believe how mature and smart she was for a five year old. Tina took a seat next to her.
“Yes I do…very much.”
“Do you think she would have liked me?”
Tina pulled her daughter onto her lap and wrapped her arms around her.

I just found this story and I read it in one deep breath. I can’t wait to see how Tina will react when she sees Bette. I wonder if Bette even knows who Tina is. Does Bette even know how her life was before she wakes up. So please post soon.
Man, I had the big knot in my throat while I was reading Tina putting Bette’s clothes away. I hope it’s Bette in that hospital. I say Bette and Tina reunite, have another baby, and live happily ever after. I also agree with Audi’s thoughts on Lexi. LOL

I’m so glad that we have some hope for Bette and Tina. I want Bette to open her eyes; jump out the bed and i don’t care if she has to swim back to Tina and Angelica.

i knew it too, but bette better hurry before tina made a huge mistake….to answer hinda, no, Tom didn’t get the girl, though it was apparent that they still loved each other…i just hope bette doesn’t have amnesia
I sure hope that it is Bette that is the hospital in Hawaii. Tina and Angelica need her and Bette needs them as much as they do.

Like a sap I started to tear up so I skipped ahead to see if the whole chapter would be tear-inducing. It’s safe to finish it now at work. LOL
Wow. It is getting interesting now. So Bette is also alife. Good I already of beginning on suspected. Tina has packed Bette’s things away now. But I hope that there will be one Happy End for Bette and Tina. I would not want that Lexi moves in with Tina. Only strange, that no man has identified Bette after 5 years. There finally are passenger lists. Please continue fast. It can hardly expect how it goes on. Please write longer chapters. PPS

Awesome! I don’t really care if Lexi gets hurt. That might be callous.. but its fanfiction so.. I guess its alright. I can’t WAIT for Bette/Tina to meet again.
Finally my Bette is here and alive and let see her wake up and hope she till have her memory!
