We were in the park now. Shane, Alice and Helena were playing truth or dare with some other girls while Tina and I walked away and found a lonesome spot between some bushes.

“When are we going to tell them?” I ask.

“Maybe later in our room so no one can hear it over.” Tina suggested.

“Whatever you want, Tee.” I say, I don’t really care when or where we tell it, as long as she is still with me. Tina steps forward and places her hands on my waist and I swallow. What is happening? I know kinda what’s happening but still I’m freaking out.

“Why don’t we stop worrying about our friends and just… think about us for a while. No one is around…” Tina said. I smile, it sounds good but still I’m a little shaky. What the hell is happening to me?

“Okay…” I manage to say.

Tina smiles and comes closer to me. She leans in a little, not touching my lips yet but I can feel her breath on my lips when she asks me. “Can I kiss you?”

I don’t know what overcame me but I didn’t say anything, I just pressed my lips against hers and marveled in the feeling of… belonging maybe. It’s hard to explain. After the short kiss, I pull back a little and I can’t seem to get this silly smile of my face, I’m afraid it never will.

“Tina?”

She nods.

“Am I… your first girlfriend or not?” I ask.

“Yes, you are… you are also the first girl I’ve ever kissed.” Tina explains.

I beam. “You are the same to me, except, I’ve never really kissed anyone up until now.”

“But you laughed with Alice when she said she’d never kissed.” She says, puzzled.

“I just tried to cover up that I’ve never kissed anyone.” I say, slightly embarrassed.

“So… how was your first kiss?” She asks smiling.

“Fantastic.” I answer.

“Wanna do it again?” She asks playfully. I nod and she captures my lips. We hear some noises from the bushes and we jump apart. Then we see the blonde locks of Alice come from behind a plant. When she is finally fully visible, leaves are in her hair and all over her clothes.
