Dana shook her head. “No, why?”

“I can’t find them.”

“Well c’mon lets find them.” Dana grabbed Carmen’s hand as they began to walk out of the Planet with Harrison behind them.

                Alice took a hit from the joint and exhaled the smoke. She handed the joint back to Shane and leaned against the wall.

“That’s what I really needed. I feel a little buzz coming.” Shane took a puff from the joint as she blew the ash off. Alice looked over and saw that Shane’s eyes were glazing over. She smiled softly as she took the joint from Shane’s hand. Alice looked up when she heard footsteps, but she didn’t put out the joint.

“Put that fuckin’ thing out.” Shane tried to get the joint from Alice’s hand.

“No way man—I want to finish this. I don’t want my high to be ruined.” As she went to put the joint to her lips, Dana and Shane came around the corner.

“What are you guys doing?” Dana looked at them.

“Ooohhh, pass the weed my way.” Harrison grabbed the joint from Alice’s grasp. He took a hit and exhaled the smoke. He looked at Dana and smiled. “You wanna hit.”

“What’s it like?” Dana looked at her friends and then at her girlfriend.

“Just try it.” Harrison held it up, and Dana grabbed it from his hand. “I promise you nothing bad will happen.” Dana continued to stare at Alice, and Alice nodded.

“You’ll be fine Dana.”

“Okay,” Dana put the joint to her lips and inhaled too much. She coughed, and Harrison rubbed her back. Shane and Carmen chuckled softly.  

“You have to take your time with the joint.” He grabbed the joint from Dana. “Alice give her a shot gun.” Alice grabbed the joint, and Dana exhaled heavily.

“W-what’s a shot gun?”

“C’mere,” Dana walked over to Alice. “I’m going to put the lit end into my mouth and blow the smoke. You have to inhale the smoke okay.”

Dana nodded. “Okay.” Alice put the lit end in her mouth and began to blow the smoke out.

“Inhale it.” Shane spoke up. Dana began to inhale the smoke that Alice blew out. She pulled away, and Carmen inhaled the rest of the smoke. Dana exhaled the smoke, and Harrison patted her back.

“Good girl.” He smiled, and she looked at him and smiled.

“I feel a little tingling.”

“That’s a good sign.” He laughed softly. Alice handed Shane the roach and walked over to Dana. She wrapped her arms around her and kissed her softly.

“Are you guys ready to go back to the party?” Shane put out the roach and fixed her shirt.

“Let’s do it,” Harrison smiled, and they all began to walk back into the Planet.
