 I woke up in the morning with Ashley looking at me while leaning on her elbow and she tucked my bangs behind my ear “morning” she replied

“what time is it?” I asked her in a sleepy voice

“early…” she told me smiling

“did you sleep?” I asked

“not really…” she said “…I just didn’t want the night to end” she added

“I had the best dream” I told her

“oh yeah? What was it about?”

“you…” I told her

“really now?” she asked

“mhmm…”

“well are you going to tell me what happened?” she asked me

“nope…it’s kind of embarrassing, and I don’t want to creep you out”

“okay that got awkward” she replied and I laughed a little then she did too “just tell me”

“I dreamed that you proposed to me” I told her

“oh really?” she asked “and how did I do that?”

“it was so romantic…and you got down on one knee and asked me if I’d be willing to put up with you for the rest of my life” I said

“ooh that’s a good line…I’ll have to remember that” she told me “then what’d you say?” she asked

“I said I wouldn’t want to do anything else” I told her then she smiled

“yeah well…maybe someday…” she replied then I smiled and she lent down kissing me “…so last night, was it okay?” she asked

“last night was perfect” I told her “you’re just full of surprises”

“you have no idea” she replied making me laugh a little

We laid in bed for most of the morning, then Ashley got up and walked over to the window with a sheet wrapped around her and I went up behind her wrapping my arms around her waist “it’s such a nice day” she told me

“compared to Ohio, everyday is a nice day here”

“even that day when it was raining last week?” she asked me

“that was the best day” I told her

“Spencer! Spencer!” Ashley yelled running into her bedroom

“what?” I asked her freaking out then she grabbed my hand and I followed her down the stairs to their back door “woah!” I said stopped because she was going outside “Ashley it’s pouring”
