    “What is there to talk about? We hooked up at a club, had a one night stand and that’s it. Now we go our separate ways.”

    I slowly open my eyes and the events of the previous night assault my mind. I mean how could they not? I’m still wrapped up in her arms, I can feel her breathing and her wonderful warmth. During the night she must of pulled the covers over us so I’m nice and warm. She looks so beautiful when she’s sleeping. So content, so peaceful. I could probably spend a lifetime just watching her. Mmmm, I think I want to kiss her. No, I need to kiss her. Just as I begin to lean in my brain seems to finally wake up. I freeze as my brain begins screaming, “What are you doing? What did you do? You’ve never even liked girls like that!! What are you thinking!! You’re ENGAGED!! Remember, the wonderful guy that’s always been there for you. The one that takes care of you. The one that is madly in love with you even if he gets out of hand sometimes. Aiden!! Aiden!!”

    I have to get out of here before she wakes up. Maybe I’ll just write her a note. I don’t think I can face her. Shit, shit, shit. Why is it I just love to complicate my life? Okay, here I go. I pull the covers off my body and gently begin to entangle myself from her. Fuck, she felt me move because she just whimpered, pulled me into her again and sighs happily when she feels me completely against her. Now what? I’ll just wait a few minutes to make sure she is completely asleep again so that I can try again. Damn it, maybe it’s not such a good idea because the more I wait the more I just want to snuggle up into her and fall back asleep in her arms. Think, Davies!! You can’t do that. You have to get out of here. Here we go again. Careful, careful, don’t move the bed, don’t wake her up. There, I’m free and she’s still asleep. As quietly as I can I get out of bed I can’t help but look at her. Angel. That’s the only word that I can think to really describe how she looks right now. Stop it, Ashley!! Stop drooling and get dressed and get the hell out of here.
