When we break for air I immediately bury my head into her neck while pulling her body as close to me as humanly possible. I find her sweet spot and as I begin to suck it I softly moan, “Let’s go back to bed.”
“Mmmm…”
I smile again and move my head up so that I can look in to her eyes. I again ask, “Let’s go back to bed, baby.”
She opens her eyes and for a minute there I think she’s going to say yes but in a blink of an eye the lust and want is replaced by fear and confusion. Shit, I should of just taken her on the damn floor.
She pulls away from me without saying a word and starts walking back to the living room with me hot on her heels. I plead, “Ashley, please talk to me.”
“Spencer, I can’t talk to you.” She says emphatically as she picks up her bag
“Why not?” I ask as I block her way to the door
“Because you’re the problem.”
“How am I the problem?” I ask fully knowing the answer but needing to push her
“I’ve known you less than 24 hours and you’re turning my world upside down!” She shrieks
I sigh and say, “Look, I know this must be confusing but…”
She cuts me off when she says bitterly, “Confusing doesn’t even cover the half of it. It’s not everyday when in a blink of an eye you cheat on some one that loves you and begin to question your sexuality.”
I get frustrated and say, “Hey, you’re not the only one freaking out here. I’ve never had a one night stand in my life.”
She looks at me surprised and says, “So why did you?”
“I don’t know either. The only thing I know is that there is something about you. I don’t know what it is, all I know is that it’s there.”
She seems to think about it a minute and I see her resolve about leaving begin to wane a little but again she changes her mind in a blink of an eye and says firmly, “This isn’t getting us anywhere. It’ll be better if I leave.”
Okay, this is so not going well. I don’t want her to walk out my door and never see her again. So I try a new tactic when I ask, “Okay, I get it. You’re engaged. You’re confused. For whatever reason I like you so can we at least be friends? I’d really like to get to know you better.”
She bites her bottom lip nervously and says, “I don’t think that would be a good idea.”
“Why not?”
“It just wouldn’t.” She snaps
“Answer me, Ashley. Why not?” I push
“Because it just wouldn’t.” She snaps again
I sigh and feel my chest tighten as she begins to walk to the door. Damn it, why am I pushing this so hard? Why don’t I want her to leave? Fuck!! As she gets to the door I can’t help but call out, “Ashley?”
“Yeah?” She answers without turning to look at me
“If you ever feel like seeing me again, you know where I live.”
She just nods her head and leaves. She left leaving me feeling bereft and sad. Trying to understand why a tear ran down my face when I heard the front door slam shut.

I loved the update. Ashley is so denying her feelings for Spencer. She talks about Aiden loving her, but not the fact that she loves him or is in love with him. Hopefully Ashley will come to her senses soon.

Ugh, that really sucks. You can tell Ashley knows she doesn’t love Aiden, she keeps saying he loves her, but not that she loves him. I sure hope she’ll be back.

I really undertand where Ash is coming from, but whats the harm in friends? Well, there is the fact that Ashley will want to ravage Spencer right in front of Aiden. That would be a problem.
