Previously…
Everything seemed to be falling into piece for Bette, Alice and Shane except for a few things, and they were by no means small things. They had yet to decide on a head director and their cast wasn’t complete. Bette, Alice and Shane were all playing lead characters, but they just hadn’t seen the right people for the other characters. They were more than feeling the pressure and began to doubt whether they could pull it off or not. Bette could see her dream slipping away from her.
Chapter 2
The alpha came out in Bette full force when she realized they were slipping behind. Nothing was going to prevent her from making this happen. So, Bette had somehow managed to pull herself and the show out of the quicksand and get things back on track.
They had decided on Kit Porter, Bette’s sister, as the head director. Everyone felt foolish that they hadn’t thought of the idea earlier, but Kit mainly directed music videos and it hadn’t occurred to anyone to take a chance on her. But this show was all about chances and it seemed right to take one on the great Kit Porter. They all knew she would be dedicated to the job, and if she so happened to start slipping, Bette would be there to put her back in her place.
One by one they met or stumbled upon the person that would play the remaining characters, well except one—Bette’s partner. They found with time that casting Bette’s partner was a challenge because no one seemed to fit perfectly with Bette or have enough chemistry with her that would transfer on the screen. While they waited for the next audition, Bette sat and analyzed the castings that had already been made and how they had happened.
The funniest casting was actually one of accident. Shane and Bette had been at Alice’s working, when her girlfriend, Dana Fairbanks, burst through the door acting like Ricky Ricardo from I Love Lucy.
“Honey, I’m home!” she shouted perfectly in his accent.
“Oh, Ricky!” Alice exclaimed, running to Dana and showering her in kisses.
“Now, Lucy, you can’t be doing that. We have company!”

Their is no option but to continue, and as soon as you can. I’m getting so excited about the first meeting. I just know that once our Ms.Porter sees one Ms. Kennard, her irritation at Tina’s lateness will quickly disappear. As for chemistry for the part, like we don’t know.
