    Angelica & The Artist – Chapter 6

Lyndsay finally broke the silence when she asked what time Angie’s flight was the next morning.

“Not until 10AM so I don’t have to rush too much in the morning.”

“That’s good.” Lyndsay responded after taking a sip of the wine. Enjoying the flavour, she mentioned that she liked the wine very much and inquired what winery it was from.

“It’s from Folinari. I like it as a simple sipping wine, “came the response.

Angelica decided that talking might be a good way to ease the tension that filled the room so she proceeded to ask more questions about Lyndsay’s painting.

“How did you discover that you had a talent for painting?”

Laughing Lyndsay responded “I’m not sure I would call it a talent. It’s just something I have always enjoyed doing.”

Not sure why Lyndsay didn’t recognize the talent she obviously possessed, Angie gently continued “Oh I don’t know about that. I have viewed my fair share of artwork, from the masters to the undiscovered, and trust me when I say you have a special talent.”

“Well thank you for saying that, but I guess I just never really thought of it as anything more than something that I did just because I enjoyed it.”

Angelica wanted to know more about the unfinished work that she had come across earlier in the week, so she asked “What do you plan to do with the painting I saw the other day in the piazza when we first met?”

Knowing which one she was referring to, Lyndsay suddenly looked very serious. “I’m not sure. As I think I mentioned I very rarely do much with them. They always seem to end up stuffed in a closet at home.”

    “Lyndsay, are you ok?”

Not quite sure how to respond, but deciding that honesty was the best route, she responded that “Yes, I’m OK. I just feel so many things right now.”

“Like what? Can you please tell me?”

“That I am scared to death right now. I have no idea what to do or what to say, and I don’t ever remember feeling like this before. I want so much to kiss you right now, but I’m afraid I will mess it up.”

Smiling, Angelica placed her glass on the table in front of her and moved to sit closer to the other woman. She slowly reached for the glass in Lyndsay’s hand, and placed it next to hers.

    1. Love this, Tou make us feel like we are easydropping on someone. This reminds me of Bette and Tina, Angie is so her mothers child. Just keep on posting please thanks

    2. Nicely done Taz…you can feel the fire burning between them. I like that you are tackling the reality thatt not all partners are at the same level of experience and everything is not perfect the first time together. Can’t wait for your next post!

    3. YES! You did it girl. I had all the faith in you, that when it came time for that NC17, you would pull it off, and that you did. I CANNOT wait for the next chapter!!!!! I think I held my breath along with Lyndsay and Angie! LOL. The pace is perfect, and you are pulling out all those true to life feelings when you are 1) with someone for the first time, 2) your first time with the person you are with, and 3) the diverse emotions that go along with all of it. I swear I could feel all the hesitation before these girls. Bravo! I sure am glad it rained! Hope you and P had a great weekend. TTYS.

    4. Wow! That was beautiful and thoroughly explained the eagerness that both girls feel and want to express in such an open, but candid way. The pace was terrific. PPS Lucero & Marsha (JC’s Salsa Aunties from Mexico City)

TRE was TERRIBLY sad, too sad so i’m glad u decided to write this more hopeful story. looking 4ward to Ange and her moms interactions especially when they discover angies in-love bad!!!! pps

    7. Angie takes after both her mothers, in that she wanted to make sure that Lyndsay was ok with the pace which is such a sweet and loving act and shows her respect for the other’s feelings. Just a beautiful little chip off the old block. Wonder how her mothers will feel about this and will they give her advice. We kow Tina will cry when she finds out, especially if she tells them she has fallen in love with Lyndsay. Wonderful chapter. PPS
