Monday morning and Tina was all smiles when she entered her office for she knew that today would change the course of her relationship with Bette. She was met by Alice’s worried face
“TK do you know the rumor going on right now?” Alice said as she handed the coffee over to the blonde
“Alice, please spare me with all the gossips, I’m so happy right now and I don’t want anything to ruin my mood okay so if you will excuse me I have more important things to attend to”
“Tina but this is really important…”
Tina took a deep breath and said “Okay what is it?”
“It’s about you and Bette, everyone now in the office knows about the two of you and I just saw Bette entered Mr. Folding’s office and I heard that Harry Sherman is also there to talk to her about it”
Tina didn’t know what to think all she knew was that she was worried about Bette.
Chapter 32
She couldn’t believe it, ‘how is it possible?’ she asked herself, they were so cautious. Tina was in her office sitting on her cool leather chair her hand covering her mouth, stunned by the pictures splayed on her table. Pictures showing her and Bette on the beach embracing, touching so intimately and sharing a very passionate kiss… pictures of two people so in love.
“When I came in this morning I noticed that there was some commotion going on and then when I checked what it was, I saw pictures of you and Bette posted almost on every corner…” Alice was sitting opposite the blonde and feeling so sorry for her friend “…I was so shocked I removed all of the pictures and destroyed them and then when I got here I noticed a brown envelope addressed to you”
The envelope contained stolen pictures of her and Bette having their intimate moment at the beach a few months ago.
Tina was still in the state of shock that she didn’t know what to say. Today was supposed to be a momentous event for them because the brunette had finally decided to come out and tell the senior partners about her relationship with the blonde but everything was ruined by someone who’s obviously against them.

First I want to say happy 1 yr anniversary and thanks for sharing such wonderful stories! I so loved this chapter because it really showed the love between Bette and Tina. phacey – Happy anniversary. Time does fly when you’re having fun. Thanks for the update on this story, and special thanks for not leaving us hanging off the cliff again :-). I never thought the whole dating a subordinate thing was a good idea but I suppose now they deal with the consequences. I agree with Dainty they should probably both quit and either start their own practice or work at separate firms. They are doing great as a couple and have really come a long way from where they started.

So glad this whole thing has backfired on helena and jodi. Helena can now explain to Peggy why she did this. Now this leaves the way clear for Bette and Tina to resign and start their own firm with Shane and Alice as partners. helena will never suspect that that might happen. And since Peggy likes Bette so well, I’m sure she would transfer her business to the new firm. I love that helena will be in deep shit with her mother. Really like story. Thanks.
