    Tina meets Papi and Bette returns with Jodi.

    Chapter 4

     

    Tina and Alice became practically inseparable after the night of the slumber party.  Tina decided with encouragement from Alice to get back into the gay community to take her mind off Bette and Jodi and Alice was a huge help.

     

    Thursdays at the Planet were back on Tina’s schedule and in no time she was the talk of the WeHo lesbian community.  Tina was flattered with the quantity of women hitting on her, or ‘meat tagging her’ as Kit reminded her, but she knew going further with any of them was just a bandaid for her breaking heart. She knew from experience over the past two years that she was going to have one love and there was no one else for her but Bette.  She just needed to decide if she could settle for less.  Unfortunately, there were few choices for her.

     

    “So what happened to the director?”  Papi asked Tina over the club’s loud dance music.

     

    Alice leaned in and answered before Tina could. “She says its too close to work and since she doesn’t want a relationship, she doesn’t want to dip her pen in the company ink – so to speak”

     

    Tina smirked at Alice.  “Thanks Alice.  Yeah, I decided I could do without messy and difficult for a while.”

     

    Papi grinned lasciviously at her. “Well, how ‘bout me Princesa?  I’m discrete, and carefree and not messy – unless you want me to be…” she winked.

     

    Tina giggled, liking Papi’s carefree and fun nature.  She really was tired of the drama and just wanted to enjoy and get to know herself with no guilt.

     

    “I’ll give that some serious thought, Papi” Tina promised.

     

    Papi stood and picked up Tina’s hand, bringing it to her mouth and lightly sucking the skin between Tina’s thumb and index finger.  “Don’t think so seriously Princesa.” She looked up and grinned at the stunned look on Tina’s face. “I’ll get some drinks.”

     

    Tina watched her strut to the bar and then turned to Alice. “Wow, is she for real?”

     

    Alice leaned in conspiratorially. “Oh yeah honey.  And you could do a lot worse than knocking boots with that one.”

     

    “And you know this how?”

    1. Robi…..You’re a natural writer with an easy to read style. Tina wants to make Bette jealous but she let her go to Jodi and in fact gave her directions of how to get there. Payback’s a bitch, ain’t it. Jodi seems to wear the pants in that relationship. Tina should invite them to stay for dinner. See how Bette responds. BTW, I despise Jodi not MM but think that MM was miscast as Bette’s lover.

    3. Mail this idea to IC – you have written it brilliantly and there probably is no one else who would get under Bette’s skin as much as Papi- You are a genius.

    4. Way to go Tina. I have a really soft spot for Tina. I have a feeling that this is story is going to be real close to how the show will handle the Bette and Tina story. Tina jealous of Jodi and Bette and Bette jealous of whoever is with Tina. All I want is for them to find their way back to each other.

    5. I decided to catch up on my reading today and I found your first story and now this one. What can I say about your writing but BRAVO. You have a style and flow that is so easy and very exciting to read. Thank you for sharing your talent Robi! Oh and I must tell you that Tina’s insemination in your story was mind blowing…as in can’t get that picture out of my head.
