    Tina meets Papi and Bette returns with Jodi.

     

    Alice raised her eyebrow and grinned. 

     

    “Seriously?”

     

    “Oh yeah” Alice answered. “And Helena too”

     

    “Me too what?”  Helena asked as she arrived at their table and sat down across from Tina.

     

    “You and Papi.”  Alice supplied

     

    Helena got a dreamy look on her face as she recalled their time together.  “Oh yeah”

     

    Tina looked from Alice to Helena at the shared expressions. “Is she really that good?’

     

    “She’s fucking awesome” Alice answered.

     

    “And she means that literally, Tina” Helena added.  “Why? You thinking of having a go now that you’re back in the land of the living?”

     

    Tina grinned and shook her head.  She had missed this so much.  Thankfully, she realized her mistake relatively quickly.  She tried to swallow the sudden pain when she struck her that it wasn’t quick enough for her and Bette to be saved.

     

    “Mmm, I don’t know guys.  She might be a little wild for me.  I’m just a homemaker at heart.” Tina joked but in her heart she was scared that that was all she really could be.

     

    “Oh Tina that’s crap.  You were wild enough when you were with me.”  Helena said

     

    Alice’s curiosity was piqued.  “Oooh, now this is a topic I don’t believe we’ve fully explored.  Spill.”

     

    Helena and Tina shared a smile.  Luckily before they could respond, Papi was back with drinks with Shane in tow.

     

    “hey Tina”

     

    “Hey Shane, How’s it going?”

     

    “All the better for seeing you” Shane said and leaned down to accept Tina’s kiss. 

     

    “Hey whitebread, you trying to make time with the Princesa?”

     

    “Huh?” Shane asked, looking at Papi and then to Tina who smiled and shrugged.

     

    “Come dance with me, chica” Papi requested as she reached for Tina’s hand.

     

    Tina hesitated for a moment at the slow song but Papi’s confidence and genuine smile won her over and she stood and walked off to the dance floor with Papi.

     

    “What’s that about?” Shane asked as she sat and took at a healthy pull on her beer.

     

    “That’s about Tina getting her groove back” Alice nodded satisfactorily.  Helena snorted at this and Shane just shook her head deciding she probably didn’t need to know.

    1. Robi…..You’re a natural writer with an easy to read style. Tina wants to make Bette jealous but she let her go to Jodi and in fact gave her directions of how to get there. Payback’s a bitch, ain’t it. Jodi seems to wear the pants in that relationship. Tina should invite them to stay for dinner. See how Bette responds. BTW, I despise Jodi not MM but think that MM was miscast as Bette’s lover.

    3. Mail this idea to IC – you have written it brilliantly and there probably is no one else who would get under Bette’s skin as much as Papi- You are a genius.

    4. Way to go Tina. I have a really soft spot for Tina. I have a feeling that this is story is going to be real close to how the show will handle the Bette and Tina story. Tina jealous of Jodi and Bette and Bette jealous of whoever is with Tina. All I want is for them to find their way back to each other.

    5. I decided to catch up on my reading today and I found your first story and now this one. What can I say about your writing but BRAVO. You have a style and flow that is so easy and very exciting to read. Thank you for sharing your talent Robi! Oh and I must tell you that Tina’s insemination in your story was mind blowing…as in can’t get that picture out of my head.
