    How Alice Pieszecki became a morning person in seven days (or less!

    Tuesday

     

    Taking another sip from her coffee, Alice glanced at the time on her laptop.  It was just before eight o’clock and Kit said the gorgeous brunette always came in around eight on Tuesday.

     

    After Dana had left the day before, Alice grilled her friend trying to learn as much as possible about the woman who would be on her mind the rest of the day.

     

    Kit didn’t know much. The woman’s name was Dana and she played tennis a lot, going to tournaments and such. She had been coming in pretty regularly for the past year in the early morning for her protein smoothie. She was always friendly, if not a little shy at first. And Kit had caught her, one more than a few occasions, covertly checking out other female customers.

     

    Armed with this information, and encouraged that the brunette could possibly be open to dating woman, Alice waited for Dana to make her morning appearance while seem typed up her notes from her interview with some surfers from that morning.

     

    As it turned out she didn’t have to wait too much longer as the brunette walked in the door.

     

    Although she was once again dressed in running clothes, this morning her hair was down and it looked as if Dana hadn’t been for her run yet.  From the corner of her eye, Alice watched the brunette place her order and pay the cashier before walking towards Alice to wait for her drink.

     

     The blonde decided to wait to see if the brunette would make the first move, but when it quickly became apparent she would Alice made the move herself.

     

    “Back again I see! You’re not going to attack the staff with straw wrappers again are you,” Alice said with a smile, which widened as the woman in front of her began to blush.

     

    “Er… no… I mean, Kit is the only one fun to mess with…. I wouldn’t do that to the rest of the staff,” Dana responded tucking her hair behind her ear.

     

    “So you come here a lot,” Alice question although she already knew the answer.?

     

    “Yeah… I mean… yes… usually once…in the morning. What about you,” she questioned back taking a seat next to the blonde as she did the day before?

    1. Sorry to burst everyones bubble but 0615 is nada. I wake up at 5 and go for a run..i’m like Dana, like my time alone. Mornings are when all the crazy peeps are still in bed, LoL Sorry y’all. The “morning person” conversation was really cute. The banter in here was perfect for those first conversations with someone you are interested in. Love Shane’s line there at the end. 0615, indeed.     3. anionayo, I have to hand it to you, this is so much fun. As you can tell by now that I am not a morning person either. A 6:15 run will never happen in my lifetime. Good for A, lol.
