    Tina visits Bette

    George helped Tina to the car and shut her door. On the way home Tina was still buzzing from the night, she reached over and put a cd in. “How bout some Prince?” she suggested turning to volume up. As the first notes of erotic city played Tina began to dance and sing along.

    George: “I take it you had fun tonight” she yelled over the music

    Tina: “I had a blast” she replied between breaths

    George smiled at her and said “im glad” as she too joined in with Tina singing.

    George unlocked her door and walked in with Tina stumbling behind. George threw her keys on the counter and then helped Tina onto the couch. Tina’s hair covered her face as she plopped down. She tried desperately to untie her shoes but she kept falling over. George laughed and neeled down in front of Tina taking her foot in her hand. Tina huffed and threw herself into the back of the couch.

    Tina: “How well do you know Bette?”

    George: “Um, I don’t know, she’s usually there when ever I go out with Alice and I may have been to a couple of her parties”

    Tina: “She seems very interesting, I’d like to get to know her better”

    George: “More like she seems very interested.”

    Tina: “I thought she was like that with everyone”

    George: “Yeah im sure it’s nothing” she said putting Tina’s shoes by the door. “Jen isn’t coming over tonight so you can sleep in my room” she said heaving Tina off the couch.

    Tina woke up the next morning with a splitting headach, her hangover was in phase one. She lifted her heavy body off the the bed and slowly stumbled to the living room. She looked around and found so sign of George then she headed for the kitchen and found a note on the door.

    I had to run into work for god only knows how long. Im guessing you feel pretty gross right about now so I left you some advil on my desk. There is a spare key in the drawer next to the sink if you want to leave the apartment at all, call my cell if you need me.
