Alice saw she didn’t know anything about it.

“"Hmmm… you know, Kennard…a lot of good memories and bad memories.” Alice took a sip from her beer. “She found a house on the beach. It’s smaller, cozy and she said she learned that she needs to be by the sea. That it could regulate, not only the climate, the weather, but also, herself, “she chuckled, remembering Bette’s words.

Tina was in shock as Alice continued.

"It will be a good thing.” But she saw her words missed the target, so she decided to change the approach. “The truth is that she is not selling the house right now. She’s not in despair. She wants to just leave the past behind her. But you see, it would be good for both of you”, Alice spoke calmly. “The memories of the good times always will be a part of your lives, and new places gives you the opportunity to build other unforgettable moments, right?” Alice raised her eyebrows, inquiring but also asserting Tina.

Tina tried to smile “I guess so.”

“Believe me Tina, it will be.” Alice said.

Bette was relaxing from lunch, with Angie in her hammock with her. Boo was sited on her mom’s tight abdomen and Bette was singing to her, while playing with her tiny hands.

The weather was hot, and a fresh wind was blowing. Bette got out of the comfortable place and put Angelica in her baby car. She looked to Tina who was talking to Alice. Shane was getting closer to them and also Kit, Angus and James. Helena couldn’t come, for she had to see her children. Tina felt the shiver in her spine and turned to look to Bette who was at the French port.

Tina placed a kiss on Alice’s cheek and moved to talk to Bette.

    1. Hello Braz!!!! Thank you for being so generous with your comments back. You are doing a wonderful job with this story. I am moved by the depth of your creativity, the words you choose, the simile’s and such. You breathe life into each and every word you so eloquently place on paper. I cannot wait to see more of this, as you spin this tale further along. Thanks so very much for adding a brilliant story to the site. Hugs my friend. xoxox

    2. Wow, now all we need is the “KISS”. rain is such a cleansing force, it can wash all the pain away, and open up into a bright sky with a beutiful rainbow,in which all things are possible.

    3. Wow Braz! You so eloquently painted the scene….watching it unfold as I read your words and seeing the effect it had on little boo….perfectly written Braz! I couldn’t help but think of some of the words in the song “In Between Poses” by Jen Foster and also the song “So Pure” by Alanis Morissette when the girls were dancing in the rain… (words in “So Pure”…”I love you when you dance when you freestyle in trance – so pure such an expression…” and “In Between Poses”…”When you think no one’s watching, when you’re taken by the moment, when you forget what you’re thinking, and you say what you really feel, when you’re in between poses, when your laughter takes over, that’s when you’re floating with the angels, that’s when you’re floating with the angels…” Thank you for sprouting such sweet feelings Braz…from your pen to my heart.

    4. Rain, rain please wash away jodi and all the pain that Bette and Tina have done to each other. Rain, rain please wipe the slate clean and allow Bette and Tina a new start.

    5. God, I always loved rain – something truly poetic about it that gets me each time… So I thank you from the deepest of my heart for this lovely update to your beautiful story, where feelings and emotions are so delightfully mixed with drops of rain and music, drops of love everywhere… Many thanks for this piece of happiness, this rainbow where all the tension you so brilliantly brang in your story until now and all the bittersweet and intense emotions find an inestimable moment of peace and beauty – a so welcomed timelessness… And, well, I cannot help but guess how truly sensitive the person must be, behind the author’s skills, for depicting such rainy poetry. Bravo ! ^_^
